Sunset collection:
Yesterday after work there was a wonderful sunset on the lake but I did not carry a camera. Autumn is the best time to see the most impressive sunsets. After I came home I browsed my photo library to look for some sunset images. Here is the outcome, not all in autumn and not all in germany – sorry.
Wonderful photos Alex and great to see Thailand/Tonsai making an appearance! Can I ask, what camera are you using as I’m soon to be in the Market (if my lx3 comes back from the repair as unfixable!)
tonsai was heaven before the tsunami, it changed a lot since then. as a camera i use a Panasonic Lumix tz-X. X because I started with the 3 and I think I got the 6 or 7 right now. I lost track of them because nearly every year one gets drowned in the water. The main issue for the TZ (Travel Zoom up to 12 x) was the ability to be able to shoot portraits from far away, sometimes you do not want people to act naturally and not be posing. Because of the huge zoom the lens is not perfect for macro but good, and also of this low light conditions are not it’s league. It is small enough for a everyday carry in a pocket but has a serious zoom with a great lens. But you can not have it all. So if you are a macro freak, or do a lot of party photos – leave it. For mostly all other purposes and if you are mostly outdoor, the camera is just perfect.
