The Heritage Post No. 7 October 2013

Actually my plan was to walk over to our carpenter to pick up a device who helps us to burnishing leather belts but I found The Heritage Post on the steps. My name and address written nicely and skilled in ink and the Heritage Post stamp onto it (and a nice post stamp as well). A joy to receive post like this. The cover was released some days ago so I wasn´t that surprised but the preface is excellent as usual. The further content will be absorbed after this post is published.

Here just some quick and dirty images I shoot, it will give you an impression about the content but does not tell too much. Get a copy by yourself!

Max Rohr “Toile de Jouy” Pocket Squares

At a recent visit in Zürich, I had the chance to have a 2nd and closer look at the Max Rohr “Toile de Jouy” Pocket Squares. Max took extremely rare vintage french fabrics (Toule de Jouy) from around 1880 from the village of Jouy-en-Josas and created his version of a pocket square / pochette.

Available next spring via 14oz Berlin, VMC Zürich, Jeanslife Winterthur and Uwe van Afferden.Contact Max for further information via maxrohr@xxxmail.com (replace the xxx by a y due to spam reasons.)

The Heritage Post – Feinschmuck:
One of the most anticipated things was to check the new issue of The Heritage Post as we knew some Feinschmuck products will be covered in an article. But we did not know how many items or pages. Needless to say we were more than happy to see that actually 3 full pages with lots of my images made it in the magazine. Thanks a lot to Uwe van Afferden, and Ronny Schröder and especially for the really well written article to Stefanie Kobayashi.

On the last two images you see Uwe having fun with our latest creation the ancient Roman dices.
