Wonderful vintage boots by Baltes Schuhe Germany, known for their production of German army boots. This pair is one of the first boots made for the army after the “Knobelbecher” around 1961. What I researched, the supplynumber / Versorgungsnummer is 8430-12-120-1178 . It has the original Vorwerk soles and you even can see the wooden nails in the leather part of the sole. A pity that boots like this are no longer produced.

I saw a baltes safety steel toed shoe/ boot with a soft sole, that is the kind of germany boot i am looking for, despite that the boot i saw had perforations in it especially that i work in dust arears and the perforations would allow dust in the boot.
i think they also produce the army jungle boots which have also this kind of perforation that let´s water out more easily. I guess Thorogood/Weinbrenner in the US have nicest steel toed moc toe boots I would choose:

I had the not steel toes on extreme dusty and hard ground and they were the best I could imagined.
