Just by accident I found this old German Navy Sailor knife called “Bordmesser” in the drawer of my father in law. A well used vintage knife from 1964 by Hugo Köller Solingen. He told me he got the knife from a fisherman who killed the fish with the Marlinspike / Marlspieker. (the usual purpose is to fix ropes or to open knots).
Wonderful vintage boots by Baltes Schuhe Germany, known for their production of German army boots. This pair is one of the first boots made for the army after the “Knobelbecher” around 1961. What I researched, the supplynumber / Versorgungsnummer is 8430-12-120-1178 . It has the original Vorwerk soles and you even can see the wooden nails in the leather part of the sole. A pity that boots like this are no longer produced.
