RLX5513 Business Card Case P3 – Giveaway!

A while ago Peter Gensberger from RLX5513 sent me this dark green hand sewn leather sheath / case for business cards. Made out of a 4mm thick leather, hand sewn with contrast yellow thread and a quickdraw mechanism, its a great addition to your EDC.

Hubertus Connoisseur pocket knife:
Another great addition to my knife collection. The Hubertus pocket knife has no special product name but I would name it Connoisseur or Gentleman knife. It got all the essencial tools to “survive”. A knife blade, a fork, a corkscrew and a cap opener. No need for a tin opener – who want´s to eat out of tin/cans, anyway. You can argue that “who needs a fork” (use the tip of the blade) or “who needs a cap opener” us the back of the blade but that is why it´s the gentleman knife. It got style, I hope its owners too. The locking mechanism of both parts is very clever and well/solid designed. By opening the fork you unlock both parts. Very nice in design, the brass parts look great with the steel and the black bakelit. There is are also antler or wooden versions of this knife. Thanks David for this nice gift – travel save! I was a bit jealous when Eric posted the images from his parcel he got from Japan today, but when I came home from work there was one for me as well.

Some weeks ago Chris from Damn Yak asked me if I´m interested in a deadstock pair of boots, made in Canada.  Before that mail I promised not to buy any more shoes/boots for a while. But his offer was more like a generous gift so I had to have them. Even they were labeled half a size too small I took them.

If they will be abused for work or have an easy life will be decided within the next weeks by wearing them in.

Chris, thanks a lot for the boots and the nice postcard. Even that we never met in person I know we would have a great time. Let´s see it might happen either in Canada or in Europe.

He made me this pouch a while a ago and brought my attention to the great swiss army backpacks.
