Watched this movie in the middle of the night. What a great journey and story. It´s about endurance, goals, love, friendship, dreams, hospitality, traveling and to follow your heart.

Brooks leather bicycle saddles are an investment for a lifetime. They will mold to the owners shape and are nearly indestructible, that is what makes them so popular. If you see them on a bike, they tell you that it´s owner got style and understood their true value . So I was really fascinated to see that in Copenhagen they were such a common view. With so many cycling “Freaks” in this city with a natural sense for good design and well made products, it made total sense.

I was drawn more and more to take images from the various types I saw on the streets. Their different colors, leather structure and worn patterns. Some people were really puzzled to figure out what image I took with my camera. See the result of just some of the images I took above, probably I will make a large printout as a collage.

Klaus from Voll´s found this cool T-shirt at the Pedal Pushers Club website. I´m sure we (me and the t-shirt and …) will have some nice discussions soon. The “care label” by American Apparel is a nice example for good marketing. Unfortunately the t-shirt is no longer available at the Pedal Pushers Webshop – read why?

The hunt after Lance Armstrong is just ridiculous everyone knows that new world records or top scores can only be accomplished by dedication, genetics, talent, luck, pain and drugs. Believing others won´t use whatever is possible to gain victory is nonsense. The “non positives” are just more clever in cheating.

Red Wings 9013 cycling:
Images were taken on my way to Konstanz (Ecke 32). Over the last few years I developed quite a dislike for stuff out of synthetic fibres. Some of my sportsstuff is still out of it, but I try to replace as much as I can and when it makes sense. The feeling of being static and the fact that nobody knows exactly what is in this fibres turns me more into cotton and wool (check the Woolpower stuff).

Im sick of cyclist hardly hitting the 20km mark and outfitted for a Tour de France race with stuff from Tschibo. Anyway, the Red Wings 9013, Pike Brother Roamer pant, Tellason Topper denim shirt, and the smaller Swiss Army Backback proved well on a approx 70 km sunshine ride.
