Polaroid Lightmixer 630 Camera:
Another great shoot for a birthday present by one of my sisters is this great Polaroid Lightmixer 630 Camera. It´s in absolute mint condition with the manual and two films by the Impossible Project. The manual was printend in 1982 so I guess the Polaroid Camera is from around the same age.

Im really exited about taking the first images with this camera. With the price of each image of about 2,5 Euro you carefully choose what images you take and it adds to the joy when the result turns out as imagined. Probably the best mix of taking images. Not to have them instantly and too quick as with a digital camera.  And not so slow to develop and unpredictable results as with a traditional 35mm film camera. The time to wait for the images to show on a polaroid was always fun and special – if not magic to me, and probably still will be.

Visiting my local butcher today, I was a bit puzzled what kind of steak he is offering here. My first guess was right it is indeed a Rib Eye but he pimped it with some herbs and wrapped with an additional layer of fat. Proudly he insured me it will preserve the meats juiciness even more with an additional crispy rim. Thats how shopping is to be done, choose carefully, talk to the butcher and give him a feedback afterwards.

Clearly they show the typical fine lines of fat which only cattle has which is not speedfeasted and has got some space to move. The “Allgäuer Weiderind” from our region is brought up in spring the higher regions, where they go freely up the mountains until there is no grass anymore. In the end of summer before the first snow they are brought back with the Viehscheid to the lowlands. And end up on the plate, bon appetit.

What a nice collaboration between my family and one of my friends Uwe from Amtraq. For my anniversary I had the joy to unwrap this great jacket which was on my wishlist since seing the first time.

What a bomb proof construction with some of the best materials around. My favorite is the structure/surface of the american bison leather. Its like a bigger scotch grain but not as much as ostrich leather. Best of all, it looks great from the beginning, no big break in time.

Banksy wall and piece book and MacBook sticker:
A while ago I purchased Banksy´s book “wall and piece”. He is one of my favourite contemporary artists. The artwork in this book is full of whitty graphic statements, with no barrier of any age, culture and language.  

By buying a sticker for my MacBook, I finally felt forced to share some images.

Last weekend I actually “ran” into this nice knife and I knew I had to buy it for my first (un) born son. A not too well kept secret that his name is going to be “Fritz Elvis” and until know, non of my girlfriends disagreed when asking the question right from the beginning of the relationship if that is – ok. Im not too sure if I should sharpen it already be-cause it is blunt as a knife can be. Probably there is some time left to finish this task, best to do this together and teach him how to do it right when he is about – let´s say around 6 years old.

A glimpse at this nice Hawaiian Shirt from Deus Ex Machina shown to me by Anie Fields and I knew I had to have it. It has got a nice pre washed like finish and is slim cut.
