Coca Cola belt buckles and rings by Feinschmuck:
A while ago Feinschmuck did these samples for Coca Cola. The confirmation for a licence to produce these belts and rings hasn´t been given yet. So not for sale, but nice to look at anyway and a great design and craftsmanship.

Harris Tweed – a romantic history
Harris Tweed – a romantic history:
I thought I understood the rules for a Harris Tweed, but I missed the fact that the Tweed has also to be handwoven. Or as seen on this video “footwoven” by cycling the loom.
“Handwoven by the islanders at their homes in the Outer Hebrides, finished in the Outer Hebrides, and made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides.”

Tellason chore coat – Coverall jacket

Tellason chore coat – Coverall jacket:
After about 2 month of constant wear of the Tellason chore coat, now called Tellason Coverall jacket I have to say it performs very well. The big tool or utility pockets are perfect to store gloves, dust masks and other stuff. The seams, pockets, denim and rivets are all without any damage. As you can see on the images, I´m right handed by the marks of the grey nautic paint. Thanks again to Amtraq & Tellason for the “donation”.
Here the earlier post about the Tellason Chore coat / Tellason Coverall jacket.
Wigens Headwear

Wigens Headwear :
Around 10 years ago I bought this Wigens tweed cap to cover some growing hair – and not to look like a full idiot. I´m not the kind of classic hat/cap guy more into watchcaps (like Devold from norway) – Tillman doesn´t like it either.
Mexico Post cigar box – Lee Storm Rider details

Mexico Post cigar box – Lee Storm Rider details:
Today I got this old Mexico Post cigar tobacco box in Freiburg. A nice fit to my Lee Storm Rider jacket and adds well to the other cigar boxes.
Defend Lance T-Shirt by Pedal Pushers Club
Defend Lance T-Shirt by Pedal Pushers Club:
Klaus from Voll´s found this cool T-shirt at the Pedal Pushers Club website. I´m sure we (me and the t-shirt and …) will have some nice discussions soon. The “care label” by American Apparel is a nice example for good marketing. Unfortunately the t-shirt is no longer available at the Pedal Pushers Webshop – read why?
The hunt after Lance Armstrong is just ridiculous everyone knows that new world records or top scores can only be accomplished by dedication, genetics, talent, luck, pain and drugs. Believing others won´t use whatever is possible to gain victory is nonsense. The “non positives” are just more clever in cheating.
Tellason Ankara Jeans

Tellason Ankara Jeans:
Made in San Francisco from White Oak Cone denim and leather label from Tanner Goods. Huge pockets, even I can get my mobile, wallet and my hands together in one front pocket (and my hands are big!). I really like the hand printed instructions on the pockets and the straight leg cut. I need the feeling to wear trousers – no leggins. Tellason is widely available in the States, in Europe check Amtraq distributed shops.

Damn Yak – Gorilla Shoe – Made in Canada

Damn Yak “Gift” – Gorilla Shoe – Made in Canada:
I was a bit jealous when Eric posted the images from his parcel he got from Japan today, but when I came home from work there was one for me as well.
Some weeks ago Chris from Damn Yak asked me if I´m interested in a deadstock pair of boots, made in Canada. Before that mail I promised not to buy any more shoes/boots for a while. But his offer was more like a generous gift so I had to have them. Even they were labeled half a size too small I took them.
If they will be abused for work or have an easy life will be decided within the next weeks by wearing them in.
Chris, thanks a lot for the boots and the nice postcard. Even that we never met in person I know we would have a great time. Let´s see it might happen either in Canada or in Europe.
He made me this pouch a while a ago and brought my attention to the great swiss army backpacks.
Check his website – he is definitely one of the good ones!
