Navy Anchor Buttons – Amor Lux caban jacket:
No they will not replace the original Amor Lux buttons on my caban jacket. I had to buy them, but haven´t found a real use for it. Will come, will come. Accompanied are the buttons with a Long John anchor button, this will stay. Drop me a mail (check “about me” for the my email) if you interested in the cheap source for these buttons.

Mountain panorama this morning
Mountain panorama this morning:
What a great panorama view on my way cycling to work. The water in front is the lake of constance (Bodensee), behind the newly snow covered alps and the big one is the Säntis. I better hurry up to make some more hiking trips this autumn or snow shoes are the other option.
Post WWII German Army boots size 42 on Ebay
Post WWII German Army boots size 42 on Ebay:
Be-cause the images on Ebay are so bad so I will post my images here. Another fine pair of Baltes post WWII German Army boots in size 42 are right now on ebay. They are the version with the thick leather which will look sometime like mine on the image above. They are goodyear welted, got the vorwerk sole and have the wooden shoenails.
Check the full post I did on this boots a while ago.

Ventilator Dornbirn – vintage shop
Ventilator vintage shop in Dornbirn Austria:
The Altwarenhandel Ventilator shop for vintage stuff is one of my favorite shops. A great selection of stuff from all kinds of interests, nicely presented. Top quality with reasonable prices. So if you are in Austria, Vorarlberg region have a stop here in Dornbirn.
Vintage Lee Denim Shirt
Vintage Lee Denim Shirt:
Last winter I was able to get this great old Lee shirt for a steal at a vintage shop in Berlin. A small shop and hardly anyone found the precious items there. I like the brass Lee logo buttons the most and the thick material of the shirt. The seams / the stitching is also very well and strongly made. The neck label is missing but in the right breast pocket there is one label from the United Garment Workers of America with the number 813615 in it. Any guess which time it is from?
Have a nice weekend – Red wine time
Red wine time – Barbera d´Alba Fontanafredda:
The weather here is definitely shifting us towards red wine. Homemade pizza with friends will be accompanied by some bottles of Barbera d´Alba Fontanafredda.
Enjoy the weekend!
Red Wings 9013 cycling
Red Wings 9013 cycling:
Images were taken on my way to Konstanz (Ecke 32). Over the last few years I developed quite a dislike for stuff out of synthetic fibres. Some of my sportsstuff is still out of it, but I try to replace as much as I can and when it makes sense. The feeling of being static and the fact that nobody knows exactly what is in this fibres turns me more into cotton and wool (check the Woolpower stuff).
Im sick of cyclist hardly hitting the 20km mark and outfitted for a Tour de France race with stuff from Tschibo. Anyway, the Red Wings 9013, Pike Brother Roamer pant, Tellason Topper denim shirt, and the smaller Swiss Army Backback proved well on a approx 70 km sunshine ride.
Fat City 1972
Fat City 1972:
Storyline: The film tells the story of two boxers and their problems. One of them is on the decline of his career while the other one just begins his ascent in this sport.
The young gun is Jeff Bridges, looking very young but it´s over 40 years ago.
The Smokehouse – Rohan Anderson
The Smokehouse – Rohan Anderson aka wholelarderlove:
Another great video about Rohan Anderson known for his website
wholelarderlove.
Smith joined forces with Victorian grower, gatherer, hunter and cook Rohan Anderson to build a pioneer-style cold smokehouse on his property just outside Ballarat.
